Trip Categories

(1) Riding Expeditions - these are camping based rides although there may be some nights in hotels and farm house accommodation according to the particular location chosen and route taken.
When we are out camping, washing and toilet facilities will be rustic, with accommodation in two-man tents and with food served around the campfire. Travelling light allows us to get into remote and scenically stunning areas not accessible in any other way, and far away from any other tourists or established routes. Expedition rides cater to people more interested in the experience of exploration and discovery, than in creature comforts - the payoff in scenic and/or cultural experiences is spectacular.

(2) Riding Holidays - these are more comfortable rides with more conventional accommodation and facilities; either in hotels, inns or farm houses, usually with en-suite private facilities with hot showers.
