The trips are true adventures for the rider who likes to trek on horseback and who enjoys being close to nature, surrounded by vast open spaces. Your guides and hosts are local residents and know their area and culture in great detail, allowing for very interesting cultural exchange to also take place on these International adventures.
We have close contacts with a number of select family owned Argentine estancias that accommodate paying guests looking to enjoy authentic argentine estancia life, work on a ranch, ride, relax, use the accommodation as a base for exploration in the vicinity, or even take spanish lessons!

Austral expedition A spectacular ride that takes us through the remotest valleys in the far south of Patagonia. Starting out in Chile we encounter for the first time the impressive peaks of the southern ice-fields and the crystal clear turquoise waters of the great rivers and lakes that make this area of the world scenically stunning.

Gaucho trail Live the life of the traditional gaucho for a few days in the most historic province of Argentina. Ride from estancia to estancia and stay in luxury in the style of the landed aristocracy. Not a stone is to be found on the ground here - it is pure sand and the terrain is ideal for fast canters.

Indian bay Ideal for nature lovers, Indian Bay offers a variety of different activities apart from just horse riding - sea lion, killer whale and dolphin watching along the 100km of private coastline - 21 colonies of breeding seabirds, including one of 60,000 Magellanic Penguins, as well as petrels, skuas, cormorants, herons, terns, gulls and ducks - the greatest diversity of sea birds in all Patagonia. An entire private village and its's surrounding terrestrial and sea environment is thus available for you to enjoy Patagonian wildlife in an unspoilt and peaceful setting.

Patagonia wilderness This is a fast and entertaining 8 day long riding safari in the wilderness of the Patagonian interior that is combined with a ride along the beaches and over the dunes of the Atlantic coast. You ride on two different properties belonging to one of the most hospitable Anglo-argentine families in the country. The two groups of horses that you ride during the trip are the best you can find on any private property in Argentina, while the ground is ideal for riding - sandy without holes or stones.

Explore tierra del fuego Combine exploration on horseback of the wide valleys, lakes and immense forests in the interior of the island with comfortable accommodation and good meals at Boqueron, a remote puesto/cabin belonging to the Menendez family. We have an english speaking guest manager, a local cook and gaucho to attend to all your needs - including a laundry service! The main house has been refurbished to accommodate up to 6 guests at any one time with two bathrooms, that at all times have hot water for showers - very welcome at the end of a days riding in the surrounding area.

Southern cross expedition The distant lands of the far South-western corner of argentine Patagonia is a refuge to some of the most authentic gauchos still around. This is a ride where you get closely involved with this culture and its relationship to the criollo horse. Your guides into the wild baguales mountain range, which is virtually unknown to travellers, are some very colourful characters with great experience of traversing this region on horseback and full of interesting anecdotes about times and events past and present.

Grand canyon expedition This is an expeditionary ride through the valleys and dramatic canyons surrounding a Unesco World Heritage Site in Southern Patagonia. A location reminiscent of Monument Valley in Arizona, writ larger and wilder, barren steppe surrounds the jagged walls of the sheer canyons gouged out to a depth of 500m by the erosion of millennia across the remotest Patagonian landscape where we follow the winding course of the Pinturas river.

Rio puelo Close to the Pumalin Park there is a green verdant valley where the crystal clear Puelo river makes its way to the Pacific Ocean from the high peaks of the Andes. Along the way it enters and leaves some beautiful lakes, on one of which we get to stay on a private island for two nights. This is a ride of great scenic beauty that will appeal to all riders from novices to experienced horsemen.
